Back to School bash provides full backpacks to more than 400 students

Through a community cultivation project between Teach for America KC and KC Young Professionals, more than 400 Kansas City students with backpacks full of school supplies to begin the 2021 school year.

The Jefferson’s Foundation was just one of many partners in making this event a success with a donation of 400 reusable water bottles for daily school use. The backpacks were handed off by volunteers one-by-one on Saturday, August 21.
