The Jefferson’s Foundation was established in 2018 and officially began its fundraising and outreach efforts in local communities in 2019. Since its inception, the Foundation has remained committed to assisting children in need by providing support to those facing difficult circumstances. Our goal is to help address both physical and financial needs so that children may have the opportunity to grow up in a stable and healthy environment. Since that time, the Foundation has distributed more than $800,000 in aid to children and their families. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our partners, volunteers, and the broader community, whose continued support allows us to carry this mission forward.
Thank you to all and especially Jefferson foundation and Diann Gambill for helping myself and my son during a time I could not. Just 11 months ago I fled a domestic violence situation. It was just myself and my 5-year-old son. I since then attained employment and a home after leaving a shelter, and a vehicle after becoming carless due to leaving a bad situation. This of course wasn’t an easy task to do being a single mother with no family here to help. I sought help from others while trying not to let my pride get in the way because I was taught as a child to always just figure it out. I’m writing this letter today to say thank you for helping my little family in our time in need as I lost my job something no one ever expects. I was so scared about losing the only secure thing we know right now which is our home. Without you guys I wouldn’t have been able to pay my rent and stay sustainable and keep going to move forward in finding a job to be able to retain my independence. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts in helping us in a desperate time of need. This is a blessing for families who have these certain kinds of situations I’m glad that this was available to help my family when I had no one else to call on. Once again thank you.

The positive impact their work has on our clients is both immediate and long-lasting. It really helps create stability, confidence, and opportunities that can truly change lives.

I was pregnant and lost my job and my fiance was looking for work himself we just so happened to have fallen behind on our rent. Thankfully with the help of my Family Advocate, she was kind enough to reach out to organizations requesting assistance on my behalf and The Jefferson Foundation responded and really made an impact on the weight of our family’s worries. And with just having had a baby their and your assistance kept our family afloat and helped us keep our home. Thank you so much!

One family I worked for experienced significant damage of their home, which resulted in the loss of electricity and a substantial increase in their utility expenses. Due to the unexpected costs of repairs and higher energy bills, unable to keep up with their payments, facing one of the members hospitalizations for an amputee, the foundations assistance provided much needed relief during the difficult time, helping the family maintain essential services and regain some comfort and stability while they worked toward recovering from damage. I feel truly blessed to know this organization and to have it as a resource for the community I serve. Their compassion, generosity and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of families facing hardship, and I am grateful for the hope and support they provide every day, thank you Jefferson Foundation!
